Optometry Services

At Crookston & Fosston Eye Clinic we take care to provide our patients with high quality services personalized for their unique needs. We are a full scope, primary eye care center. Clear, comfortable vision is important to overall wellness and regular routine eye exams are an integral part of healthcare. A routine eye exam includes testing of vision clarity and efficiency of eye movements, measuring any prescription that may be necessary, and a thorough eye health evaluation, often including a dilated eye exam. We carry a variety of frame styles, spectacle lens options, and contact lenses for all ages. We strive to understand how a person uses their eyes and provide the best options for optimal visual function and convenience.

We work hard to maintain good working relationships and communication with primary care providers to help them manage a number of systemic diseases including diabetes and hypertension. We provide emergency care for injuries, sudden vision changes, flashes and floaters, pink eye, etc, including after-hours care if needed. We have long-standing relationships with a variety of regional eye specialists and surgeons, including cataract surgeons, corneal specialists, retinal specialists, LASIK surgeons, and oculo-plastic surgeons. We invest in the latest technology in order to have proper diagnostic equipment to accurately diagnose eye problems such as macular degeneration and glaucoma, and therefore be able to manage them and/or refer them to the appropriate specialist.

Our new patient appointments always begin with a comprehensive eye exam. If you are unsure of your family’s eye health history, it’s helpful to research beforehand, so we can better evaluate your own eye health. If you have never had a comprehensive exam, don’t worry! All the tests and exercises are simple and painless.
